The Subjunctive!

Well, I've done a lot of podcasts practicing the subjuntive, yet I continue to find new situations where the subjunctive is used.  So we will keep practicing. Share your comments and questions about the subjuncitve here, so we can all learn together.

Qué bueno que... (the subjunctive?)

When we practiced the subjunctive following impersonal phrases such as: "Es bueno que...," we also practiced using the subjunctive after phrases such as "Qué lástima que...., Qué bueno que...."

Since making that podcast I have listened closely to examples in Spanish conversation, and have noticed that more often I hear the indicative used rather than the subjunctive. This is one of those examples where either is okay, but it appears to me that the indicative is more commonly used, especially when speaking about past actions.  For example: "Qué bueno que fuiste a verlo."
